THE BLUE TRIANGLE

THE BLUE TRIANGLE consists of 3 Nubiperf types that are the most superlative products in terms of coloristics in the Ultramarine Blue market: NUBIPERF H56 (the strongest with a reddish undertone), NUBIPERF F36 (the most reddish with high tinting strength) and NUBIPERF FG75 (the most greenish with high tinting strength). However another added value of THE BLUE TRIANGLE concept is that by linear combinations of the 3 products any Ultramarine Blue shade of the market can be reached. THE BLUE TRIANGLE very much expands the possibilities of the Ultramarine Blue space.

Plastics, paints and inks. Masterbatches of high pigment loading and/or Masterbatches used in applications that require improved appearance as regards brightness, transparency, surface smoothness,… or improved mechanical properties e.g. thin films, pressure pipes, fibres, bottles.
Customers that look for wider color possibilities with Ultramarine Blue, with the highest flexibility when formulating, reducing the number of Ultramarine Blues to use and rationalizing the supply chain to reach cost reductions.

Nubiperf FCP

Nubiperf FCE – Ultramarine Blues for a wide range of Odor and Taste sensitive Plastics applications. The Nubiperf FCP range has been developed to meet the highest organoleptic requirements for those customers that want a plus of safety when dealing with Ultramarine Blues in very sensitive to odor and taste Plastics applications and that do not want to sacrifice the high performance and unique color of this inorganic pigment vs Phthalocyanine Blues and/or Cobalt Blues. Food & Beverages, Cosmetics, Pharmaceutical and Medical Packaging, Automotive interiors in which organoleptic control regulations have bee fastly growing in the last years.

NUBIPERF AR

New product developed through a novel silica encapsulation technology that is much more efficient than the conventional one. Because of this NUBIPERF AR provides 40% higher tinting strength than conventional Acid Resistant Ultramarine Blues. Moreover NUBIPERF AR has got a higher acid resistance in use and a higher weather resistance, it is easier to disperse and it better resists abrasion so that it keeps all the characteristics and performance during and after processing it in an extruder, injection moulding machine,…

Plastics: PVC, POM/Acetal and any plastics formulation that contains any additive that might release acids or that might be in contact with acids because it is used in packaging of chemical products, food,…

Zinc Ferrites

Zinc Ferrites have been able to reach a niche market in Plastics because of its enhanced heat-fastness vs Yellow Iron Oxides. Nubifer Y-805K stands up to 300ºC (5 min) and Nubifer Y-905K, up to 260ºC (5 min). Regarding coloristics, Zinc Ferrites are tan color pigments, slightly redder than Yellow Iron Oxides. As regards the rest of typical properties: • Compatibility with all kinds of polymers • Easy-dispersion • Maintenance of polymer’s dimensional stability • Excellent light fastness • Excellent weather fastness • Excellent resistance to chemicals • Insolubility, avoiding migration tendencies • High opacity • Highly suitable to combine with organic pigments of higher tinting strength but lower durability, to enhance their properties • Environmentally-friendly profile Synthetic turf (Zinc Ferrite is used as a “durable” base pigment in combination with PG 7), Automotive interiors, Wood Plastics Composites, Imitation of wood, Synthetic leather.

Nubiflow

Especially focused on any process that has got high dispersibility as a key factor. This is achieved thanks to a very fine particle size and a very narrow granulometric distribution. It is the Ultramarine Blue of the highest tinting strength, with a reddish shade.

Fibres, PET mineral water bottles, very thin films.
