Our products

Product category: Extrusion lines for sheathing of pipes and cables

Extrusion

Screw-type rubber extruders (GS) manufactured by TROESTER and used by the leading rubber processing companies in Europe and abroad have, for over a century, been recognised as setting the benchmarks in output and production quality.Depending on the application, TROESTER can supply the right GS extruder: cold feed (GS/k), hot-feed (GS/w) and vertical (GSV) Extruders. The GS series also includes vacuum (GS Vak) and pin-type extruders (QSM).

A QSM (cross-flow mixing) extruder is of a similar design to a cold-feed conventional extruder. The marked difference lies in the combination of screw and barrel which depending on the application, is equipped with up to 12 rows of pins.

Extrusion Heads

For generations, the largest companies in the rubber industry have relied on TROESTER extrusion heads in their processing lines to ensure product quality.

Decades of design experience, the highest quality production and individual custom problemsolving mean that customers all over the world are guaranteed top performance in quality and output from TROESTER rubber extrusion heads.

Superior flow channel design, ensuring even material flow during production, plays a leading role in the high performance of TROESTER heads.

Extrusion

TROESTER extruders for the processing of plastics play an important part worldwide, especially in the cable industry.

The PX series is used to provide the insulation and sheathing of electrical cores, conductors and cables; either as a single extruder or an extruder group,

depending on the task in hand. Comprehensive testing in the TROESTER R & D department in conjunction with computer simulations aided by the wide-ranging extrusion tests and trials in cooperation with compound manufacturers provide the basis for an optimal extruder design.

The PX extruders designed according to the latest developments in process technology, are available in three different types.

Extruder type PXA: air-cooled design
Extruder type PXF: fluid-cooled design
Extruder type PXV: vertical design

About us

Company details

In 1892, the engineer Paul Troester struck upon the innovative idea of building machines which could process unvulcanized rubber and gutta-percha. He thus laid the foundation for an name which is world-renowned and synonymous for technological advancement, quality and outstanding performance in the fields of rubber and plastics processing.

The essential feature of all machines and lines build by TROESTER is their superior process technology.

Highly qualified development engineers design extremely efficient machines which also have a long service life.

Customer requirements are thus optimally translated into production with maximum efficiency and quality.

Know-how resulting from experience and knowledge is your guarantee for high technology in machine construction.

Progress stemming from tradition

The latest production processes for the manufacture of cables, tires, -profiles, hoses, gaskets and conveyor belts require systems technology which has been perfected. TROESTER develops efficient machine and equipment control systems which flexibly employ the hardware components of leading manufacturers.

The availability of TROESTER equipment is ensured by qualified service and support backup. So even aht the design stage, emphasis is placed on easy serviceability by the customer's plant personnel - because only a unit which is simple to operate and maintain, works cost-effectively. Detailed and extensive training of customer personnel, support during initial operation and a comprehensive spare parts' service round off the support.

TROESTER developments will also continue to set the milestones for rubber and plastics processing in the future. In doing so, we are committed to the growing demands for quality, efficiency and environmental compatibility.

For us, this is progress stemming from tradition.
