CYPET Technologies strives to add value through innovation, by conceiving, patenting, developing and commercializing new solutions for PET processing.
The CYPET process for the production of PET bottles, jars, Kegs and drums, is an innovative single-stage process conceived and patented by CYPET Technologies, which retains all the advantages of conventional single-stage technologies but eliminates their two major disadvantages of high investment cost and limited production output.
The CYPET process is commercial with eight Injection-Stretch-Blow-Moulding machine models on offer. Five machine models are based on energy-saving servo-hydraulic injection technology, while three are all-electric machines, ideal for clean-room applications. The world’s biggest PET containers of 50 litres capacity are now in production on two CYPET single-stage machines. One is a 50 Litre beer keg with a burst pressure exceeding 9 bar and the other is a 50 Litre container for liquids, with a 220 mm neck diameter and with two custom-designed moulded-in PET handles for convenient handling. Even larger PET containers (drums) of up to 100 Litres can be produced on existing CYPET machines.
True to its core belief of creating value through innovation, in addition to the CYPET single-stage process, CYPET Technologies has conceived, patented and commercialized another new method, for the production of PET preforms. This new method, which is ideal for thick-walled preforms for big bottle sizes, involves a simplified post-mould-cooling system, allowing PET preform production with short cycle times on affordable equipment.
Further innovations from CYPET will be exhibited at K 2016 and in particular a new, patent pending system for producing PET bottles with incorporated, moulded-in handles, to replace HDPE blow moulded bottles. This revolutionary CYPET innovation is suitable for handles on PET bottles from 1 to 25 litres capacity.
