Product category: Measuring and test equipment for rheological properties

Product information

Our StrainMaster family of products offers optical inspection of surface deformation and strain based on digital image correlation. Due to the non-intrusive nature of optical instruments, these systems provide unique capabilities for highly accurate, full field deformation analysis. Our measurement equipment is used in well-known R&D labs all over the world. Largely customer oriented, we offer user-friendly, reliable, and high quality products tailored to the needs of our customers.

StrainMaster systems are equally useful in the development and quality control. The field of applications starts with microscopic applications over classical tensile-torsion tests and cyclic and dynamic fatigue tests up to high-speed experiments. As the only manufacturer into the market LaVision offers the use of polarised light and filters to eliminate glare and specular reflections from the specimen surface and greatly improve usability and result quality.  Covered by Patent EP1739403B1.

The StrainMaster software package  offers a complete data project management.  All of the necessary tools for image capture, calibration, image processing, statistical analysis, and data display are available.  The data export supports ASCII, CSV, Abaqus©, Matlab©, Paraview© and Tecplot©.
