KömaCel – the integral foam sheet for universal Application!
KömaCel is the worlds No. 1 plastic sheet using the Celuka extrusion process. 30 years experience in using this process and PVC materials have resulted in an integral skin foam sheet that has been perfectly adapted to meet market requirements. This products unique properties are down to the combination of a tough, solid outer skin and a cellular core, manufactured in a single process and from the same material. The solid smooth outer skin gives the sheet a silk-gloss finish. This means KömaCel sheets are ideally suitable for screen printing and also for film-laminating. However, the advantages of this material are well known in all branches of industry and the building trade. The sheets boast low thermal conductivity, affording good levels of thermal and acoustic insulation. Good flexural strength and excellent processing properties make these sheets the perfect material for a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications. Characteristics:
fine-celled foam structure solid, closed, smooth outer skin surface with silk-gloss finish homogeneously dyed throughout
It is an exceptional symbiosis of design and functionality, creating an interesting play of light and shadow with its fine relief surface texture. However there are also practical aspects to KömaDeco. The sheets are extremely resistant to mechanical influences and action of light. They are also perfectly simple and versatile to use. Designed specifically for indoor applications, this material is primarily used to build trade fair and exhibition stands and shop fittings, in addition to cladding for doors, ceilings and walls.
KömaDeco composite sheets are a combination of a KömaCel integral skin foam sheet and a decorative PVC film, which is laminated on the respective sheets, either on one side or on both sides. The sheets are characterised by a fine surface texture similar to that of real hardwood. They are available in 5 different colours, in addition to custom patterns upon request.
KömaTexNEW – because surface strength is always key!
KömaTexNEW free-foam PVC sheets have an even, fine-celled structure and good surface strength. The closed cell, matt, fine-textured, high-grade surface is ideal for printing, painting and coating with film and is also very easy to process. The free-foam KömaTexNEW sheets are also flame-retardant. In sum, this all provides the ideal prerequisites for a wide variety of applications, especially in advertising. Whether for signs, banners or display boards – whether in shops or for trade fair and exhibition stands: KömaTexNEW is the right choice for most uses. The sheets are resistant to weathering and colourfast in the colour white 662, similar to RAL 9003, and are therefore also the ideal material for external use. The stabilisation system meets the latest requirements of the REACH standard (EC no. 1907/2006). KömaTexNEW contains no compounds with toxic properties, in accordance with EU Directive 76/769/EEC, in force from 1 January 2012.
KömaFoam is a lightweight sandwich sheet with a polystyrene foam core and overlays on both sides. Despite their light weight, the sheets are very strong and can be used in structural and decorative applications. These qualities make KömaFoam very versatile to use, for instance for laminating, picture framing, sales displays, interior signs, digital and screen printing, in addition to many creative applications. KömaFoam is available in a variety of overlays and surface finishes and in many different thicknesses and formats.
