Launch of a new small continuous gravimetric blender

PROCESS CONTROL starts delivering of a new product. This is the XDC Mini Version of the well-known X- Series Blenders from PROCESS CONTROL.

Throughput target is below 80 kg/h (1-80kg/h) as extruder rate.

Base is a common frame with the installed blender elements and on top a loading plate for installing the refill system.

The hoppers automated refilled via internal refill gates. Adapter hoppers on request.

Each of the blender elements located on an independent load cell for precise and accurate feeding of all ingredients of a recipe.

Lowest feed rates are possible, because of digital weigh signal filtering and high resolution load cells.

All gear motors for driving the high precision feed augers with pulse wide modulation for perfect repeatability of the expect speed. A speed encoder with very high resolution helps keeping the throughput based on measured weight loss at each element.

Cascade chamber with post is doing a perfect mixture via cascade mixing.

Underneath installed is the weigh downcomer for synchronization of the blender rate with the extruder consumption or driving an extrusion control system for constant throughput at the extruders die.

This small but powerful blender is made for small extrusion processes or co-extruders which need a high performance and perfect accurate blend to keep the final product specifications.

Also to use for small fiber applications like spin fiber lines with low throughputs, like often used in BCF lines.

Or another typical process is sausage skin production. Co – Extruders at profile lines, small foam profiles, blown film, medical tube extrusion and others.
