Our products

Product category: Mixers, continuous type, for solids

Pegasus® Mixer

The Pegasus® Mixer is an accurate and highly efficient mixer developed to ensure that even the most
challenging mixing process can be carried out quickly and effectively. To accomplish this, our Pegasus® Mixers use an ingenious double shaft mixing mechanism that rotates in opposite directions. This creates a unique fluidized zone which lies at the core of the entire mixing process. The mixer also works with a sophisticated feeding system which adds ingredients evenly to the mixer in precisely the right quantity and at exactly the right time, guaranteeing the desired end result. Our company develops and manufactures each Pegasus® Mixer in-house in accordance with the individual wishes of the client. In short, the Pegasus® Mixer enables you to realize the desired capacity and quality in terms of the mixing result regardless of the operating conditions

Hamex Hammer mill

Hamex® Hammer mills are especially well-suited for grinding soft to medium-hard products (moderate fat content, fibrous or crystalline structures) such as grains, sugars and minerals, for particle sizes between 150 μ and 3 mm (D99 <800 micron to <4 mm). Inside the hammer mill, freely suspended hammers swing around at high speeds in the milling chamber. Depending upon the properties of the components fed into the mill, single hammers, double hammers or T-hammers are used. The resulting centrifugal force grinds the components against the special grinding plates on the inside of the milling chamber. The ground product then leaves the system via the exchangeable sieve

Crushers

Dinnissen has developed a range of crushers for breaking lumpy materials and agglomerates. Depending upon your specific situation and the end result desired, we can provide you with coarse crushers, medium-fine crushers and fine crushers. Our crushers consist of a robust housing enclosing a rotating system. Incoming material is ground down between the rotor and the stationary component and ends up in the outflow. The low rotational speed of the crusher makes it possible to realize high throughput capacities with a minimum consumption of energy.

Most advanced Pegasus® Mixer

The well-known Pegasus® mixer still has his double-axle mixing paddles, which rotate in opposite directions. This creates a unique fluidized mixing zone with an excellent homogeneous mixing result, quickly and with minimal consumption of energy. The mixer can be adjusted to all sorts of bulk goods, either or not to be mixed with fluids. It is suitable for the food, feed, pharma and chemistry branches, with small to high capacities. But Dinnissen is continuously busy with improvements and adjustments to optimize the mixing results and to broaden the applications. The innovations are based on the requests of our clients, but also on our own experience. All innovations are implemented immediately, because Dinnissen develops and manufactures everything in-house.

The most advanced mixer of the Pegasus® series is introduced at the PowTech 2016. Provided with the approved mixing technology, but now with the latest cutting heads. The design is completely fitted out in stainless steel, including the attached automatic sampling system. The design of the mixer has also been further improved so that no product residue stays behind. Hygiene aspects have always been very important during the development of this concept. For perfect cleaning not only are the mixing shafts completely withdrawable, but now you can also open the back cover plate. The cover plates are not flanged but welded, and all seals are fitted so that also wet cleaning is possible. Because Dinnissen develops and produces in-house, a high quality is guaranteed!

Hamex® Hammer mill

Dinnissen Process Technology specializes in the development and production of process technologies and equipment for the feed, food, pharma and chemical industries. One outstanding member of Dinnissen’s product range is the Hamex® Hammer mill with
(semi-)automatic screen changer.

Hamex® Hammer mill with automatic screen changer
The Hamex® Hammer mill with automatic screen changer can handle grinding capacities of up to 60 tons per hour, and the screen changer has space for 4 to 6 different sets of grinder screens. The mechatronic screen changing system automatically selects and places the appropriate set of grinder screens in the hammer mill. After the production process has been completed, it removes and stores the grinder screens in less than 35 seconds. This makes it possible to change screens extremely quickly and greatly reduces downtime. The Hamex® Hammer mill features a new and ingenious design which greatly increases the surface area of the grinding screens inside the hammer mill, which in turn provides increased grinding capacity. The screen storage facility is also fitted with an extra-wide chamber that can be automatically opened. This makes it easier to carry out maintenance and remove damaged screens if necessary, thereby minimizing downtime. Dinnissen had the performance of the hammer mill measured over a period of one year, during which time 25,000 client batches were analysed. The results of this study made it clear that Dinnissen’s automated hammer mill performs even better than expected. The Hamex® Hammer mill turns out to be extremely reliable and delivers 20% higher capacity in combination with a very homogeneous end product.

On to the latest development: the semi-automatic screen exchanger
Continuing on this design, Dinnissen now also offers a Hamex® Hammer mill with semi-automatic screen exchanger in respond to changing customer demands. When using the Hamex® Hammer mill with semi-automatic screen changer, the screens are automatically removed from the hammer mill.  But, in contrast to the automatic screen changer, the operator manually removes the screens from the screen holder and manually inserts the new screens. The semi-automatic screen changing system then automatically inserts the screen holder back into the hammer mill. As a result, the grinding step never needs to be the limiting factor in a production process. The investment needed for a semi-automatic screen changing system is also relatively limited.

A much better and more homogeneous end result
In its newest (semi-)automatic hammer mill, Dinnissen has improved the inflow of ingredients by integrating stone catchers and magnets into the design. This innovative feature prevents damage to the screens from iron particles or hard objects. The screen holder is also fitted with an extra-wide opening that opens automatically, making it easier to carry out maintenance and/or replace worn-out screens which further minimizes downtime. Finally, Dinnissen further improved the design of the screen holder. The end result is that damage is prevented to the grinder screens.
Dinnissen also had a study carried out into the quality and homogeneity of the ground products. The study made it clear that the new Hamex® Hammer mills not only deliver a more homogeneous end product per batch but that the homogeneousness of the end products remains much more consistent over time. The high-end materials used by Dinnissen minimize wear and tear and deliver more homogeneously ground products.

Expansion of test facilities for pneumatic conveying

In the second half of 2015, Dinnissen Process Technology invested in and expanded their own D-Innocenter test plant. The existing set-up for tests with pneumatic conveying is one of the facilities that has been upgraded. With the latest additions to the D-Innocenter, Dinnissen Process Technology now can offer an even more extensive range of tests for pneumatic conveying. All aspects can be tested, including dense phase, dune phase, and dilute phase. These can be performed on either vacuum or pressure systems, and with or without air assist. The total length of pipework available has been extended and now comes to around 120 meters, with diameters varying between 50 to 110 mm. A new powder-flow tester increases the understanding of the processed product.  Combining these facilities with the comprehensive analysis-equipment for powder and bulk materials, as well as the design and calculation software available to Dinnissen, it makes for a set-up where full scale testing can be offered.
