Final report "From Düsseldorf to all around the world"
The plastics industry was especially inspired by the innovations this year at the trade fair ‘K’ in Düsseldorf. By the end of the event, visitors with specific investment plans from over 120 countries had come to the state capital and had made new business deals. This hadn’t been expected – usually when it comes to such substantial expenses, the follow-up business is the determining factor.

The Science Campus at K
For the first time the Science Campus takes place. K 2013 is providing a forum that brings together research and the industry in the area of plastics and rubber. Two experts from participating universities talk about the advantages of such a platform.

Former politician for the Green Party Joschka Fischer was promoting ways of sustainable thinking and acting at K 2013 – also for the representatives of the chemical and mechanical engineering industries.
