Unimatec launches new peroxide FKM grades and a new type of ACM

Another new product is Noxtite RE462, a grade with an optimised processing behaviour. Despite a fluorine content of 68 % it has a very low viscosity (ML 1+10 @ 121 °C) of 10 and is therefore suitable for adjusting the flow characteristics of peroxide formulations. Both new products offer typically required chemical and dynamic resistance at high temperatures in automotive applications. In addition, Unimatec has expanded its acrylate rubber (ACM) portfolio. Noxtite AY1215 B is a new grade that meets the growing demands on fluid resistance of elastomeric components (EGR, blow-by gas condensates, biodiesel) and increases considerably the application range of acrylic rubbers. The new Noxtite grade is particularly suitable for the production of sealing components and hoses, mainly in diesel blow-by and EGR applications.
