Thermoforming manufacturer Illig attributes growth to non-European markets

Dusseldorf - Karl Schäuble, managing director of Illig, the Heilbronn-based manufacturer of thermoforming machines, said the K show is a useful indicator for the current economic situation and mood in the plastic sector.

More specifically, the recurring occasion is an opportunity to provide an outlook to the future of thermoforming and packaging technology.

"At the beginning of K 2010, our whole economy was still faced with the impact of the deepest crisis of the last decades," he said. "Our sector, too, was severely affected."
