Anticipating the needs of the industrial actors, developing better performing and more economical material and technologies, that's what the French manufacturer of rubber injection molding machines strives for. Generating a new corporate baseline and a new visual identity, REP clearly display their dynamism and determination to diversify their offer of solutions for the rubber industry.
The French Rubber Connection
“Rubber in Motion”, that's how REP identify themselves in 2013. “Injection in motion was too restrictive” according to Bruno TABAR, CEO of the group, “ today REP are facing a turn with the introduction of a new additional activity: the devulcanization of rubber.” We could almost talk about a French “Rubber Connection”: still confirming their leading position in the field of the rubber injection molding machines, REP also intend to offer their customers a solution to reintegrate cured compound wastes into the production chain. Concurrently to that, REP are actively working on the introduction of their 10th machine generation, the G10.
The new G10 unveiled in Düsseldorf
Named Infinitely smart, double allusion to its functional aesthetics (new ergonomic design, user-friendly) and to the embedded intelligent technologies (wireless 3G card to simplify remote diagnosis without going through the customer network, predictive maintenance, etc.), the G10 line, like the previous generations, is characterized by its reliability and robust design. The 10th REP press generation integrates the expertise of the French manufacturer possessing an experience of more than 50 years in the field of rubber injection. The V710 introduced in Düsseldorf will be the very first machine of this new generation.
And waste becomes raw material…
Another novelty presented in Düsseldorf is the HSM devulcanization, a thermo-mechanical rubber recycling process. Strictly speaking, it is a compound-regenerating process which will drastically change the earnings of the rubber industrials: waste now becomes a raw material which can be reused in the initial product!
A clean and green process without chemical additives, the HSM devulcanization process is a solution for the future in a context of tensions regarding both rubber provisioning and prices we know far too well. An actually economic and ecological concern versus the increasing environmental constraints, upgrading production scraps is from now on within the rubber transformers' reach.
A diversified offer
In the continuity of the developments performed in the past years, REP will also introduce a Plug & Produce type micro-machine for the molding of small precision parts, which can be easily integrated into a production line.
Finally REP will also exhibit their flagship products and proven solutions such as CMS, a compact multi-station injection molding machine allowing to achieve the same productivity as with two 4,000 kN machines or the Servobloc (CRB with electrically-controlled shutoff system), without forgetting the economical RT9 range and the compression molding machines of TUNG YU, the co-exhibitor of REP.
