TURKMENISTAN: Ineos licensing Innovene Technology for Turkmengaz chemicals complex

The license covers a 386,000-t/y high-density polyethylene plant, which will be built alongside a 50,000-t/y Ineos Black compounding line.A consortium of Hyundai Engineering, Toyo Engineering and LG International earlier this year was awarded the engineering, procurement and construction contract for the complex, which also includes a 400,000-t/y ethylene plant and an 80,000-t/y polypropylene plant.

The engineering phase of the project is now underway and completion is expected in 2018.
