Each series features different key characteristics. low sliding friction, very good resealing properties, good compression set, good adhesion to technical thermoplastics, high flexibility, and compounds for thick-walled components.[image_1_right] The company's TPEs for the medical and pharmaceutical sector comply with medical standards such as DIN ISO 10993-5, -10, -11, USP Class VI, USP 661 as well as DIN ISO 10993-4. The latter allows the material's direct contact with blood and medicine. The Thermolast M compounds can be processed via injection molding, multi-component injection moulding, and extrusion. Moreover, all Thermolast M materials can be sterilised with superheated steam, gamma, and EtO.
