FRANKLIN, TENN. (June 24, 11:10 a.m. ET) -- After a long lull, the employment picture in the plastics industry is showing signs of picking up.
Nearly half—or 47.6 percent—of the nearly 1,000 companies who responded to a survey by the Society of Plastics Engineers and Gros Executive Recruiters say that they plan to add employees this year, compared to 18.3 percent a year ago.
