Tetsuya Okamura, who since April has served as Sumitomo (SHI) Demag CEO and senior VP and executive board member of Sumitomo Heavy Industries (SHI) Ltd., told PlasticsToday that his company currently occupies the third spot in global injection molding sales in terms of revenue.
Okamura declined to reveal specific results for Sumitomo (SHI) Demag, saying only that revenue within plastics is "stable". For all of SHI, 2011 income came in at $5.9 billion, with $6.3 billion forecast for 2012....
