An all-electric, high-speed SE 280 HSZ machine will the be offering of choice from Sumitomo Demag as it runs an inmold labeling application at its stand during Feiplastic 2013 (May 20-24; São Paulo, Brazil) as part of the company's overall presentation as a full-range supplier in packaging.
The 2800-kN machine will be molding thin-wall (0.75 mm), 1.5-liter polypropylene containers weighing 41g in a 2-cavity mold made by For-Plas Industria de Embalagens Ltda. at a cycle time of 5.8 seconds. Israel's Imdecol Ltd. will be supplying the equipment for the label magazines.
The SE-HSZ series features three clamping forces from 2200 to 3500 kN. Among the features of the SE-HSZ midsize machines are:
