Small company punches above its weight on international stage


You don't have to be a large company to have a global presence, as blowmolding machinery manufacturer Rocheleau Tool & Die discovered as a recipient of a Global Trade Award at the annual meeting of the Associated Industries of Massachusetts' International Business Council. Cathy Rocheleau shared with PlasticsToday tips for international success that any company, small or large, would be wise to heed.

For three generations, Rocheleau Tool & Die Company Inc. has designed and manufactured blowmolding machinery, including continuous extrusion and reciprocating screw blowmolding equipment. On May 13, Steven Rocheleau, president of the company, accepted the Ambassador's Award from the Associated Industries of Massachusetts' International Business Council (AM-IBC) at its annual meeting.

Rocheleau's company is a small (33 employees) family owned business in Fitchburg, MA, however the company installs and services its machine on site at customers' locations in more than 28 countries. Rocheleau provides tooling and machinery to processors of beverage bottles, reservoirs for windshield wiper fluid, and products used in the food/consumer packaging, pharmaceutical, industrial and automotive industries....
