Mold manufacturers use a lot of energy in their facilities, and the topic of energy savings in manufacturing is still hot. According to one report, depending on the company involved, machine tools can account for up to 48% of the total energy requirement a company uses, which makes energy efficiency in manufacturing a must to help reduce overall costs to manufacture to help gain a competitive edge.
