Europe's economic doldrums aren't infecting Germany's Sanner (Bensheim), a maker of plastic packaging and components for the medical device and pharmaceuticals sectors. The company has announced that sales grew a healthy 10% in 2013 to reach €55 million, setting a new sales record. The results validate decisions made prior to 2013 to tweak its branding and invest in its operations, according to the company.
Sanner introduced a new slogan in 2013—Sanner. Protecting Health—to clarify brand positioning, says the company, and it established new product divisions devoted to desiccants, test strips, medical device and pharmaceutical packaging, eye care, and ready-to-fill syringes. It also developed some new patent-pending packaging concepts during the past year.
