ROQUETTE WILL PRESENT AT K2013 ITS RANGE OF INNOVATIVE PLANT-BASED SOLUTIONS FOR THE PLASTIC INDUSTRY

ROQUETTE WILL PRESENT AT K2013 ITS RANGE OF INNOVATIVE PLANT-BASED SOLUTIONS FOR THE PLASTIC INDUSTRY: GAIALENE® resins, POLYSORB® isosorbide, POLYSORB®ID plasticizer and DISORBENE®clarifier.

ROQUETTE will present at K2013 Hall 8B – A 78 its full range of innovative and sustainable plant-based solutions for the plastic industry.

GAÏALENE®: a range of plant-based plastics
Eco-designed by Roquette from a renewable plant-based resource, GAÏALENE® resins has certified environmental profiles and in particular, an extremely low carbon footprint. The industrial range comprises filmable, injectable or foamable grades, directly on the equipment in place in the plastics industries. The range has unique technical and sensory properties that are sources of innovation: warm, silky feel, natural anti-statics, low density...

POLYSORB®: a range of highly pure isosorbide grades
Safe and 100 % biobased, POLYSORB® can cost effectively replace fossil based diols for polymers synthesis. Its unique chemical structure can also bring outstanding properties of the new polymers. For instance, POLYSORB® can lead to new optical and thermal properties for new polycarbonate. Also, in PET markets, POLYSORB® enables the new PEIT to be used for hot fill containers.

DISORBENE® 3: a sorbitol-based clarifier for polypropylene
Roquette has a wide experience in producing sorbitol-based clarifiers using an efficient and environmentally sustainable production process. By offering DISORBENE® 3, Roquette opens a new reputable source for bis-DMBS, a state-of-the-art clarifier and provides additional capacity for this widely used clarifier to meet the growing needs of the polymer industry.
