Prime Minister David Cameron congratulates the UK's plastics trade body on its 80th anniversary

In a letter to the British Plastics Federation (BPF), Prime Minster David Cameron recognized the plastics trade association on its 80th anniversary.

Reflecting on the "vital role that plastics play in just about every facet of our daily lives," Cameron pointed out how everything from packaging to electronics to construction to transportation are now familiar aspects of life made possible by plastics.

"The plastics industry is also contributing enormously to our transition to a green economy, in particular through developing and supplying low carbon products and solutions, which help other manufacturing sectors," he said....
