Esteemed Representatives of the Press,
the Central German plastics and chemical industry is confronted with serious challenges and with promising opportunities alike. The current economic numbers and new projects both attest to this, as does the content of the new edition of the thoroughly revised ´Future Cluster Chemistry / Plastics Central Germany' Atlas.
The most recent figures reflecting the development of the sector will be introduced for the first time at the K 2013 trade fair, as will the new cluster atlas. Both will take place in connection with 'Central Germany Day'.
More information will be made available at a Press briefing
on 17 October 2013
in Room 6, CCD Congress Centre South, Messe Düsseldorf
We invite you to join us for this event.
Taking part in the conversation will be:
Dr. Tamara Zieschang, State Secretary of Science and Economic Affairs for the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt,
Jakob von Weizsäcker, Head of the Economic and Tourism Policy Department in the Thuringian Ministry of Economy, Employment and Technology,
Barbara Meyer, Department head at the State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Transportation of the federal state of Saxony,
Dr. Steffen Kammradt, CEO of the Brandenburg Economic Development Board GmbH (ZAB).
Moderated by: Dr. Reinhard Proske, Managing director of the Circle SmartCard GmbH and former president of the Plastics Processing Industry Association.
Beginning at 18:00, we look forward to your participation in 'Central Germany night', taking place in Hall 8b / Stand E61.
On behalf of the organiser, I remain yours faithfully,
Future Cluster Chemistry / Plastics Central Germany
