Plastics Hall of Fame names 2012 class


A PET pioneer, polymer researcher, hot runner inventor, thermoforming maven, educator, and the “father of resin distribution”, those are just a few of the 2012 class of Plastics Hall of Fame Inductees announced on Feb. 6 by the Society of the Plastics Industry (SPI). The newest members, 10 in all, will be formally inducted into the Plastics Hall of Fame at a gala banquet during NPE2012 (April 1-5; Orange County Convention Center; Orlando, FL).

The induction ceremony will take place during the NPE2012 Opening Gala on Sunday, April 1, capping a day of activities that SPI is dubbing “Super Sunday.” The ceremony will be held at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel in Orlando and include a reception, keynote address, and banquet.
