At the K-Show 2013 Kongskilde Industries A/S releases a newly developed RVS Rotary Separator for the waste handling needs in the paper and plastic industries.
The new RVS Rotary Separator series is designed as a multi-purpose separator and is technically setting new standards within the industry. Reliability, robustness, simplicity and trouble free maintenance have been the driving force behind the design.
Multi-separator RVS design
With the aforementioned key design factors, Kongskilde has successfully managed to design a RVS Rotary Separator, which is extremely tight, even when exposed to very high vacuums up to 35,000Pa in negative pressure. The extreme tightness of the separator enables the use of the separator series with the well- known series of Kongskilde Multiair blowers. The unique rotor design combined with innovative housing design is indeed setting new standards for Rotary Separators. The multi-purpose RVS Separator can handle material from thin plastic film through the thicker plastic materials, foam, rubber and even small moulded plastic parts as tops, tails, sprues etc. Within the paper industry the multi-purpose RVS Separator can handle anything from cut edge trim, off-cuts and trimmings in very large quantities.
Reliable and highly efficient systems
Reliability together with a high efficiency has been achieved by designing a stronger separator with a low pressure drop even with high material loads.
