Plastic tubing manufacturer NewAge Industries Inc. has been awarded a $1 million solar energy program grant from Pennsylvania’s Department of Community and Economic Development. The money will help fund the purchase and installation of a one megawatt rooftop solar panel system.
The array will generate more than half of Southampton-based NewAge’s energy needs.
