Since 2008, when Netstal first established its sales and service organization in Russia, the company's customer base has continued to expand and broaden. The company has been particularly successful in building a reputation for quality in the packaging sector, mainly due to it making good on the company's promise of competitive production thanks to the lowest production costs.
"It is especially in the beverage packaging, closure and thin-wall packaging sectors that Netstal is a forerunner on the Russian market when it comes to energy-efficient and cost-effective production," said Zachar Antonovsky, divisional director of injection molding machinery and reaction process machinery in Russia and CIS.
Netstal's PET-LINE series is particularly suited for PET preforms, while the EVOS and ELION series are ideal choices for the production of closures and thin-wall packaging. Launched just last year, the new PET-LINE 2400 and PET-LINE 4000 help customers to improve production and energy efficiency and maximize material and cost savings. Hydro-mechanically driven axes with advanced valve and control technology, as well as a further increase in the throughput of the injection unit have resulted in faster the cycle times and increased output rate. Netstal's "Eco Powerunit" drive technology and the possibility of recuperation in the intermediate circuit enable energy savings of up to 10 percent to be achieved. At the same time, the removal device of the clamping force variables 2400 kN and 4000 kN of the PET-LINE series has been revised and further optimized. This also provides compatible replacement sets for the PET-LINE 3500.
