Injection molder Spectrum adds splendor to its web page, while Weber, Europe's leading processor of plastic storage tanks, has invested heavily in its Polish production site. Kreyenborg opens a new office in Southeast Asia, and thermoset plastics compounder Norplex-Micarta and trade group PlasticsEurope each have promoted from within their ranks.

In Minneapolis, MN, injection molder Spectrum Plastics is billing its newly launched and improved website as the perfect means to unify the company in its customers' eyes and also help make clear how diverse it is. The site becomes the launch pad for customers of its molding facilities in Minneapolis and Connecticut, and its Dynacept and Protogenic prototyping divisions. "It's of vital importance that our web site conveys this single important message," said Randy Ahlm, president and CEO of Spectrum Plastics Group. "By putting all of our content under one single domain, we're sending the message loud and clear to our employees, customers, vendors, prospects and competitors that Spectrum Plastics Group is truly one company."

Ahlm continued, "Before we launched this extensive effort, we went to great lengths to research the best web site possible- we surveyed customers, suppliers, auditors, even regulatory officials, asking them what makes their lives easy when it comes to visiting client web sites. The end result is a product that not only looks great, but gives all users the fast, efficient, and productive experience they deserve."
