This issue of Names in the News includes word of a new appointee plus a promotion at plastics packaging processor Linpac Packaging, and a new hire for medical plastics compounder Foster. SAS Automation named a new company to rep its products, and Invensys Eurotherm announced a promotion and a new hire.
We start at Linpac Packaging, a specialist for plastic food packaging such as thermoformed PS trays and clamshell packaging. The processor has appointed Joanna Stephenson as VP of marketing and innovation. She joins the company following the promotion of Adam Barnett, who becomes vice president of sales.
Stephenson will co-ordinate marketing activities across Europe for the division's different product sectors. She joins the company from Sun Chemical, where she was European marketing director for packaging for four years. Prior to that she was a consultant at rogenSi, which specializes in helping companies drive-up staff performance and productivity, and European product director at the Dow Chemical Company.
