Mold/hot runner maker männer to intro micro injection machine at K 2010

There's a new player, albeit with a familiar name, in the injection machine business. The männer Group (Bahlingen, Germany), well known for its hot runner systems and high-performance injection tools, will launch micro-män at K 2010, a micro injection molding system its maker says has a revolutionary concept and sets new standards.

The back story is that, in the fall of 2009, Ralph Keitel and Alexander Gehring, the managing partners of paramecc GbR, showed the concept for a micro IM. As männer says, what was missing was a partner for development, production and marketing. As it happens that paramecc is also located in Bahlingen, männer's hometown in southwest Germany's Black Forest region....
