Mitsubishi Polyester Film Inc. is setting up a closed-loop system for recycling post-industrial polyester liner film, thanks to a new proprietary process.
The company’s Greer plant makes in-line silicone-treated release films, which become the dispensing liner for labels. The labeling process leaves behind a “spent liner” after the label is placed onto a package or container.
