Mexico's Anipac continuing the fight against anti-plastic legislation

Mexico’s national plastics industry association will never give up trying to change society’s “mistaken idea” that plastics are to blame for environmental pollution, its president says.

Anipac (Asociación Nacional de Industrias del Plástico AC), “has spent 49 years working for the plastics industry,” Eduardo Martínez Hernández said in an open letter to members.

Changing the erroneous perception that plastics are to blame for environmental contamination is paramount, he added, “and we won’t give up the fight.”
