ML Engraving: New patent for footwear production Hall 4, stand D30

[image_0]Air-Off is a method for the realisation of 3D texture moulds for thermoforming, which for the first time made possible the laser engraving of extremely complex 2D and 3D textures. Thanks to Air-Off ML Engraving says it is able to realise 3D texture directly on moulds of any size and geometry. Thanks to the patent-Off Air evacuation of air is facilitated by a system of micro-channels, which create according to the company a sort of grid on the mould and constitute tract of outflow of the air. This complex structure of vanishing lines is connected with the suction areas placed at the edges of the mould. Exploiting the properties of laser micro-incision, the textures created have the peculiarity to remove air trapped in the grooves even deeper, making reproducible any type of decoration, says ML Engraving. [image_1_right]The advantages of this system for the footwear industry are firstly the possibility to create any texture thanks to DRE (Design Rendering Engineering), secondly the possibility to reduce time since the processing of the digital file takes place simultaneously with the construction of the mould, and thirdly the possibility to realise 3D texture. Among the customers of ML Engraving are Gruppo Rana, Alessi, Alias Design, Pirelli, Michelin, Gruppo San Benedetto, Flextronics Design, Decathlon, and Acerbis Italia.
