MBM MASCHINENBAU MÜHLDORF CONTINUING RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ON RECYCLING FIBRE-REINFORCED THERMOPLASTICS

ICM Duplex
July 27, 2010 - Mühldorf am Inn –MBM Maschinenbau Mühldorf, a manufacturer of injection compression moulding machinery and other machinery for the plastics processing industry, is making significant inroads into the recycling of fibre-reinforced thermoplastics. The recycling of composite material remains a relatively young domain in the composites industry.

Based on years of experience with recycling polyolefines, MBM took interest in the composites industry based on the flexibility provided by its injection compression moulding technology. MBM has also won various industry awards, including an environmental award awarded by Germany’s Federation of Reinforced Plastics, for significant research and development conducted in this area.

A scaled-down model of MBM’s ICM Duplex injection compression machine (actual weight 140 tonnes) will be on display at K-2010 in Düsseldorf.

MBM Maschinenbau Mühldorf prides itself on developing and building efficient machinery to meet and surpass customer needs and expectations. For further information, contact Karina Weber at +49 (0) 8631 6 05-207
