[image_0]Over the last decade the US subsidiary Kraiburg TPE Americas has experienced strong growth. Therefore the present corporate headquarters in Duluth are approaching the limits of their capacity. But the TPE compounder is remaining true to Gwinnett County and is moving to Hamilton Mill Business Park in Buford, about 30 km north of Duluth. Upon completion in 2016 the building will accommodate production lines and 75 employees. The annual production capacity will then be increased from 6,000 to 10,000 tonnes. The project is expected to create more than 20 jobs over the next five years. In the long-term, the facility has the capacity to double its original size as needed. Initially, the facility will house three production lines. The future expansion will include space for the addition of up to five more lines. CEO Franz Hinterecker said at the groundbreaking ceremony: "Kraiburg TPE's value proposition to customers is our unparalleled investment in innovation and product development. Our US investment will enable us to achieve this ambitious target. In the future this strong growing business segment will dispose of state-of-the-art premises and draw on a highly skilled workforce in the Gwinnett region. "Kraiburg TPE is a great example of the type of manufacturing companies that are succeeding in Gwinnett County: global, R&D-driven, and with a strong commitment to being part of their community, said Troels Adrian, Senior Project Manager, Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management for Gwinnett Chamber of Economic Development and Partnership. Jeff Frankish, Americas Director, already looks into the future: "I'm delighted to continue to serve our customers at an even faster rate and still remain with our consistently high quality product in this state-of-the-art facility.
