Krahn-Chemie/Albis Plastic: Extended portfolio of TPEs and more

This includes the Sipolprene copolyester TPEs of Italian company Sipol (see also p. 234?-?235), which are exclusively distributed by Albis Plastic in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, UK, Ireland, and France. The Scona product range of Byk Kometra is also new to the portfolio. Scona are highly grafted polymers used as couplers for glass-fibre reinforced PP, PA or WPCs. The products can also be used to improve the adhesion of soft TPE-S on rigid substrates. New additions to the portfolio include also SBS and SEBS, which are marketed by Krahn Chemie throughout Europe.Krahn-Chemie will also inform visitors at K about processing additives by Byk-Chemie for use as process additives, viscosity reducers, dispersion additives, defoaming agents, and entrainers in PVC, compounds and master batches, light stabilisers including UV absorbers and HALS, and the halogen-free products KSS and HES from Arichem to improve the flame protection of PC/ABS blends as well as carbon fibres from Toho Tenax in chopped and milled form. The extended pigment range will be another highlight. Krahn Chemie will present products under its own brand Crane Color. The pigment portfolio covers organic coloured pigments based on phthalocyanine, dioxazine, indanthrone and quinacridone, and is rounded off by a range of pearl gloss pigments based on natural and synthetic mica and borosilicate glass. The pigments are suitable for use with various polymers such as PVC, EVA, and polyolefins.Hall 8b, stand A61
