Of special interest are the metallocene grades of the Vistalon series. The grade 6602 is characterised by higher tear strength compared to Ziegler/Natta products. Despite lower ENB content, it has a higher crosslinking density. Vistalon 7602 allows rapid cure and provides good low temperature properties in the final product. The material is suitable for continuous vulcanization of solid or sponge rubber profiles. Vistalon V2502 is characterised by a narrow molecular weight distribution and a low ethylene content. Küttner points out in particular that the final products show a significantly improved elasticity and improved low temperature properties. The Cabot carbon black range includes reinforcing or semi-reinforcing types as well as speciality blacks. The Vulcan and Spheron series meet all requirements for carbon blacks in rubber processing, says Küttner. With its specified low maximum PAK content Spheron SO LP is suitable to meet the PAK limit values specified in various guidelines.
