- The leading edge in mould-making productivity for 50 years
At this year's K-Fair in Düsseldorf, HASCO, the leading manufacturer of standard mould units and the specialist in all aspects of hot runner technology, will present the newest enhancements of standard mould units created half a century ago to an audience of experts.
In 1960, Rolf Hasenclever submitted a patent to facilitate the production of injection moulding tools by using standardised elements. This meant considerably faster manufacture times of injection-mould tools, as well as being more economical and reliable in service. With this standard in mind, HASCO develops solutions to increase productivity together with customers from the mould construction and plastics processing industry.
The proven pre-hardened, high-quality steel Toolox33 is now additionally available as an undrilled P-plate, as a finished cavity plate in K20 quality or as K252 with finish machining allowances in the system drillings. The special stability features of this material allow finish-machining in one setting. Using the HASCO clamping fixture A8001 likewise reduces set-up times. The homogeneous, sulphur-free structure permits high gloss polishes and acid etch graining. The choice of material has a major influence on the economic efficiency of mould construction and the service life of the tool.
The comprehensive product range with latch locking units, two-stage ejectors, transmission elements and collapsible cores for demoulding internal threads and undercuts offer the user customised application possibilities. The new ejector set cover Z1216/… protects the ejector set against penetration of dust and foreign particles thus reducing downtimes during production.
A wide range of cooling elements dissipates the heat from the cavity at every desired position and thus ensures optimum cycle times. The product line starts with the entire range of hoses and connections, through spiral cores and diverting elements. The new diverting plug Z9675/... is used to position the ejector bore through the cooling channels, allowing significantly greater flexibility in tool design. The new intermediate size M9x1 for the sealing plugs Z94/… and Z940/…. can now seal size 8 cooling channels with considerably less effort.
Hot runner technology
In the hot runner segment, HASCO will highlight various needle valve solutions as well as innovative solutions for difficult gating positions in manifold tools. Two new control units have also been added to the range. With the Multi hot runner control unit Z1240/..., HASCO is offering a unit of the highest class in terms of efficiency, convenience and reliability.
HASCO's technical service department will find the optimum solution for your specific application and can provide a broad range of standardised nozzles and hot runner elements in combination with special solutions anywhere in the world.
