On 16 May 2013, during the first Members' Meeting in 2013, the General Assembly of European Bioplastics elected a new Board to represent the association and its members for the coming two years. François de Bie (Purac) was elected as Chairman. Mariagiovanna Vetere (NatureWorks) and Stefano Facco (Novamont) are Vice-Chairpersons. PlasticsToday managed to catch Mr. de Bie between meetings to congratulate him on his election as new chairman of the board.
