Made and marketed by American Kuhne Inc. (Ashaway, RI), the new extruder will be running Feb. 8-10 at the MD&M (Medical Design & Manufacturing) West show, processing a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) tube. Because it does not require a gearbox, the line does not create any contamination (from drive belt dust and gear oil) and so reduces potential contamination in a clean room environment....
