Eliokem India received 'Star Export House” status until 2015 in recognition of its outstanding export performance over the past few years.
With a continual growth over the past two years, total export turnover of the company reached INR 36.87 crores (US$ 8.38 m) while total export tonnage exceeded 100% growth since its takeover by Eliokem in 2008.
The Director General of Foreign Trade under the Ministry of Commerce recognised Eliokem India as an established exporter, a highly professional company, client service oriented, legally responsible, environmental friendly and acting as a major player of export growth for the Indian chemical industry.
This recognition will grant the company a fast track registration system based on self certification, quick customs clearance for both imports and exports and a quick clearance in working capital finance from banks which will greatly benefit the company’s service to its overseas clients across the board.
More recently, on September 18, 2010, Eliokem India received the Export Merit Award for the year 2009/2010 from All India Rubber Industries Association (AIRIA), a recognition which demonstrates once again the company’s excellence in the export field.
“We are very pleased to further develop our overseas business and better serve our worldwide customers” said Deepak Birje, Director of Eliokem India.
The Star Export House status was founded by the Government of India in 1990. It is given to organizations for their continual growth and stability in the export business.
Every year, AIRIA delivers Export Awards to Indian Companies for export excellence during the preceding year based on applications made under different rubber related categories.
