Eight more organisations join the IRSG

Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Berhad (BMD) is a Joint Venture subsidiary of Bursa Malaysia Berhad and Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) which provides, operates and maintains a futures and options exchange. BMD operates the most liquid and successful crude palm oil futures (FCPO) contract in the world. In August 2009, BMD entered into a partnership with the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) with a view to improve accessibility to its commodity, equity and financial derivatives offerings globally through GLOBEX global distribution network. Olam International Ltd is a leading global supply chain manager of agricultural products and food ingredients established since 1989. Olam has chosen to participate as an integrated supply chain manager offering end-to-end supply chain solutions, from the farm gate in the producing countries to their customers' factory gate in destination markets. Sibur LLC was founded in 1995 on the basis of Russian gas processing and petrochemical operating facilities and is Russia's leading petrochemicals company. The Group operations include three divisions based on common operational processes and products: Hydrocarbon Feedstock Division, Synthetic Rubbers Division and Plastics and Organic Synthesis Division. Sibur's tyre and industrial rubber business has been set up as an independent company Sibur Russian Tyres. Birla Tyres, a division of the B K Birla a flagship, Kesoram Industries Limited, has worked hard to become recognised as one of the leading tyre manufacturers in India today. Its first plant in Balasore was set up in technical collaboration with Pirelli in 1991. Birla Tyres' domestic network is supported by nine regional offices and the company exports its products to over 50 countries. Amongst the recently launched products are Roadmaxx, the full motorcycle range, and VICTUS, the truck and bus radial series. Conveyor Belt Technology Ltd possesses over 20 years of experience in developing and implementing new technologies for industrial conveyor belts, giving solutions to material transport systems, especially in the mining industry. Conveyor Belt Technology's aim is to study and develop new technologies to facilitate highly complex tasks using high standard products in its work. Sime Darby Plantation is the plantation and agri-business arm of Sime Darby Berhad, representing one of the five core divisions of Sime Darby Group. The division is involved in oil palm cultivation, agribusiness & food and research & development (R&D). Sime Darby Plantation has also acquired a 63-year concession in Liberia to develop 220,000 hectares of land into oil palm and rubber estates. The Automotive Tyre Manufacturers' Association (ATMA) was set up in 1975, as the representative body of the automotive tyre industry in India. The primary function of the Association is to be a conduit, providing a two-way communication between Government Departments and the tyre companies. Currently, ATMA has nine large tyre companies based in India as members; accounting for 85 % of tyre production in India. The Association functions through various committees, consisting of different disciplines, such as, Marketing, Export, Purchase (Raw Material), Taxation, Technical and others under the guidance of the Managing Committee. The day to day functioning of ATMA is managed by the Secretariat headed by the Director General. Ram Charan commenced business in Kerala during 1965 to procure and supply Carbon Black. Since then with the growth of economy, Ram Charan has expanded from supply chain services of raw materials (rubber, plastic, coatings, inks, electrical and electronics printing, construction and adhesive) to technical support for their products to clients. The company's sales offices and warehouses are located in Southern, Eastern and Western India and its development laboratories and technical assistance centres are based in Chennai.
