ENSO Plastics introduces two new biopolymers to address plastic pollution issues

In an effort to address the growing global plastic pollution issue, ENSO Plastics, an environmental plastic solution provider, announced two new technologies, ENSO Renew and ENSO Restore that company President Danny Clark hopes will change the way plastics are used around the globe.

ENSO Renew is what ENSO Plastics calls “a unique Renewable Thermo Polymer (RTP) derived from the waste process of agriculture, with a carbon footprint 75% lower than polyethylene.” As a high-heat renewable biopolymer, ENSO Renew can be used in products that can be composted in both home and industrial composting facilities, as well as in marine degradable products.

ENSO Renew is designed to meet the needs of applications needed renewable solutions to further sustainability goals using fast-growing plant based material. Blending ENSO Renew with traditional plastics results in a material that has the durability of traditional thermoplastics with a bio-based content, making it “a partially renewable solution that is also durable.”...
