The two companies are to set up a joint company which will build a plant in north-eastern China with an annual capacity of 100,000 tonnes. Both companies will have an equal share in the new company. Dynasol will supply the production technology and the know-how in developing new products and will also provide technical service to clients. Xing'an is a subsidiary of a diversified Chinese business group which owns a chemical complex in Liaoning province. The new rubber facility will be part of this complex, resulting in a seamless integration of its main raw materials, styrene and butadiene. Dynasol is a subsidiary of Repsol and the Mexican Kuo Group. The company today has two plants, one in Spain and one in North America. With the new plant in China Dynasol says, that it will become a global producer, boosting its present capacity by 50 %. Dynasol operates in more than 70 countries and provides global distribution of SSBR, SBS, SEBS, SB multi-armed under the Calprene and Solprene brands.
