Dow Corning has announced it will invest in a 32,000 square meter (345,000 square feet) energy efficient distribution centre in Feluy, Belgium, to expand delivery capabilities and optimize service for customers throughout Europe and the Middle East. The project will represent a total investment of approximately $45 million (€35.5 million).
"This distribution center will allow us to improve productivity as Europe regains its economic strength and looks to Dow Corning for high-quality silicon-based products," said Jim Whitlock, senior vice president, manufacturing, engineering & global operations.
