DME announces scholarship program, new mold monitor


DME Company, a manufacturer of mold technologies, announced that it is accepting applications for its DME Plastics University Scholarship Program through July 15 for the 2012 fall semester. The program offers $1000 scholarships to students enrolled in plastics manufacturing-related program in order to increase the number of highly-skilled workers in the plastics industry.

To be eligible for a DME Student Scholarship, students must attend an accredited trade school/university offer a two-year certificate, two-year associate or four-year bachelor's degree in a plastics manufacturing-related field. Those enrolled in related coursework will be considered if they demonstrate a strong academic emphasis and interest in plastics. Scholarship applications are available online.

DME also announced plans to introduce its CVe Mold Monitor at amerimold (June 13-14; Novi, MI), a new mold maintenance tool its says brings greater flexibility in gathering and analyzing tooling information....
