Compression molding: 750oF cabinet oven suitable for heating Teflon billets

Grieve announced the availability of its newest electrically-heated cabinet, the No. 997, designed for heating Teflon billets. The workspace dimensions on this oven measure 72-by-72-by-72. 100KW are installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular elements to heat the oven chamber, while a 10,000 CMF, 7.5-hp recirculating blower provides vertical upward airflow to the workload.

The No. 997 cabinet oven features 6-inch insulated walls, subway grating shelf at the bottom of the oven workspace rated for 2500 lb loading and four pairs of shelf supports rated at 200 lb/shelf. It also includes digital programming temperature controls, manual resent excess temperature controller with separate contactors, recirculating blower airflow safety switch and 10-inch diameter circular chart recorder.
