Leading Chinese machine builder Guangdong Yizumi Precision Machinery (Foshan) has developed its first two-platen injection molding machine. The machine debuted at the recent Chinaplas show in Guangzhou.
According to regional sales manager Michelle Chen, the first 1000-ton clamping force machine has been undergoing testing in the field since March, with a further four months of field testing planned before the company plans to start fully fledged marketing efforts for a machine series. "We can go bigger or smaller with this machine design," says Chen. "We might offer 650 or 850-ton machines moving forward, or we could go up to 2600 tons based on our experience with three platen machines."
