Changes in Total Petrochemicals' management committee

Spinoy holds a Master in Business Engineering of the Louvain-la-Neuve University in Belgium. She began her career within PetroFina in 1985, where she held various positions in the Refining and Supply Department. In 1991, she became Marketing and Transport Manager for Natural Gas, and in 1994 she was put in charge of Coordination of Supply and Optimisation for Refining. She became Vice President Corporate Planning in 1996 for PetroFina and in 2000 she was appointed Vice President Strategy and Financial Control for TotalFina and subsequently for the petrochemicals activities of Atofina. Since 2001, Bernadette Spinoy has been Vice President Marketing and Sales for the Base Chemicals Division of Total Petrochemicals. From 2003 until April 2010, she was also a member of the Board of Directors of Cepsa. Since 2007 she has been Senior Vice President for the Styrenics Division. She was also in charge of the Purchasing & Polymers Logistics Division; as from 1 June 2010, these responsibilities will be taken care of by Martine Veyssiere on top of her function as Senior Vice President Human Resources and Communications. In her new function as the head of the biggest of Total Petrochemicals' three business units, Spinoy succeeds Quentin de Borrekens, who is retiring.
Greiner graduated as a Civil Engineer in Electricity and Industrial Management from the University of Louvain in Belgium. He joined PetroFina in 1991, where he held various positions in the Auditing and Organisation department and in Fina Europe's Sales Coordination department. In 1997, he became Commercial Sales and Specialties Manager within TotalFina Italy and in 2000 he was put in charge of the General Commercial department of TotalFinaElf France. After having led Total Netherlands as a General Manager since 2003, he was appointed Vice President Marketing and Sales of Total Petrochemicals' Base Chemicals Division in 2007.
Lebeau has graduated as a Chemical Engineer and Process Specialist from the National Graduate School of Engineering Chemistry in Lille and from the Technological University of Compiègne (France). He held various operational positions in the Carling manufacturing plant in France, first within Atofina, later within Total Petrochemicals, and subsequently became Deputy Manager. In 2007 he was appointed General Manager of the Carling plant. In February 2010, Claude Lebeau was appointed Senior Vice President Research, Technology & Engineering. Since then, he is based in the Feluy Research Center (Belgium). The Information Systems & Technology Division also reports to him. He now takes the additional responsibility for Strategic Planning from Nathalie Brunelle, who succeeds Greiner in his former function as Vice President Marketing and Sales at the Base Chemicals Division.
