Boeing’s James Griffing to serve as SPE president

James S. Griffing, a technical fellow at The Boeing Company, is the new president of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE), succeeding Russell C. Broome, it was announced at ANTEC 2012. At ANTEC 2013, Griffing will be succeeded by the new president-elect, Jon Ratzlaff, who is a technical services manager for Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LP. The appointments were announced by Willem De Vos, SPE CEO, following longstanding practice, wherein SPE's annual technical conference marks the beginning of one-year terms for new SPE officers.
