Autodesk increases comprehensively the attractiveness of Moldflow at the K-show

Autodesk will demonstrate a continuous development of Moldflow as a comprehensive tool in development and construction within injection molding, announcing different decisions at the K Fair for plastics and rubbers 2013 in Dusseldorf. First, Autodesk is responding to customer concerns regarding cost efficiency with license models which provide flexible resources. The connection from a PC license using the Autodesk Cloud provides exactly what the customer needs to optimize the costs: capacity when it is needed and without volume limitation if possible. The benefits are far-reaching. It starts with investment minimization which ranges to the reduction of capacity of the IT department. It also protects the own resources and mainly applies to the reduction of time required for simulation runs; these are performed in parallel in the Cloud and not serially at your own working place. The presented offer at the K-show is valid for the period of one year. However, in the future there will be far shorter intervals offered. The objective: Moldflow Users should be able to react optimally to incoming orders. The leader of CAD Software also responds to data security, which is currently the focus of political discussions, and now offers a SSL- key which is also used by banks.

The Autodesk Sales Partner MF SOFTWARE GmbH, located in Darmstadt, takes on the idea of “cost-efficiency” and announces customized training concepts, e.g. just for design engineers and tool-maker that optimize cooling systems or runner systems. This also includes tailor-made short training sessions. The training costs for each target group are reduced to dimensions that are relevant for the current task setting of the customer.

During the weekdays, there will be Round Tables at our joint booth in Hall 11/G73. Managers of the Autodesk Simulation Team like Dr. Chris Friedel, Manager Simulation Validation Team, David Astbury, Manager Solver Development Team, Jerad Stack, Product Line Manager, and Hanno van Raalte, Product Manager for Autodesk Simulation Moldflow Products, will be at your disposal in order to answer questions regarding current and future development trends of Moldflow. The topics of discussion and the time table will be announced on the homepage K2013.moldflow.eu and in newsletters.

After the successful adaption of Simulation CFD (for conformal cooling) and Simulation Mechanical (for anisotropic structural simulations) on Moldflow, the presentation of a new member in the Autodesk Simulation Software Product line represents the efficiency of Autodesk. The company “Fireholes Composites”, specialist for simulation software in the field of carbon parts and lightweight construction, will soon be able to open up new fields of application of Moldflow Simulation by cross-linking with the Autodesk Simulation Software product line. An example would be the construction of anisotropic inserts and organic sheets which are an important aspect in the lightweight construction of vehicles nowadays. Therefore the announced vision of Autodesk when taking over Moldflow, being an important part of the simulation sector worldwide, continues to have clearer contours.
